3.3.1 The old way using ozskel

The ozskel utility makes it very easy to develop and distribute applications. It is also just as useful for projects that you don't intend to distribute.

ozskel is a script which, when invoked, populates your current directory with a whole collection of administrative files. In particular it gives you a Makefile.in where you just have to fill in the blanks. Creating a good Makefile.in is hard. We've done it for you! For most of your projects, all you'll need to do is to add files names to certain variables. All the really useful rules are already in there.
